Come to the Lilac Festival in your best attire as it relates to spring and lilacs!
Purple, flowery, fairy, elf themed... Be creative!
Have you passed by something fabulous somewhere, and wanted to buy it, but thought "Nahhhh, where would I wear that?"
At the Lilac Festival, please!
For the manly dudes that want to participate but don't want to dress as a purple fairy, come in your best farm wear! Just be creative!
HOW TO ENTER:
- Dress up in festive attire appropriate for the Lilac Festival.
- Take photos of yourself at the Lilac Festival.
- Post your best photos on social media and tag @fortcrossadventures with the hashtag #FCLilacFestival no later than April 19, 2026.

Easter Weekend Shenanigans
at Fort Cross during the Lilac Festival!
It's been a family tradition that instead of the Easter Bunny, we have.... the Easter Skunk.
That's right.
Be sure to check-in early on these days!
At 10 am on April 4, and 12:00 pm on April 5, we will be doing an Easter Egg Hunt with the Easter Skunk! All ages are encouraged to participate. You do need to purchase at least a General Admission ticket, but we definitely encourage teens and adults to participate.
Why?
Because the wonder of childhood should never end!!
Also, because the Easter Skunk will pop out and surprise you. He may chase you. If he sprays you (don't worry, it's just water and vinegar for a festive skunk aroma that won't stay on your clothes at all), then you have to give him one of your eggs!
The Easter Skunk will not chase small children, just older kids and adults.... unless there are no adults participating. No adults? Then, those little kids might be going dowwwwwn.
Just kidding.
Maybe.
So, be sure to know what you're getting into.
But it's definitely a lot of fun!! Bring your easter basket and come on out!
Kids Entrepreneur Fair!

Do you have anything that you've created that you'd like to sell? Are you a school-age kid (age 6-17)? Would you want to come out to Fort Cross to set up a booth with your wares, and also enjoy a beautiful spring day in the mountains?
Well, we sure do hope to have you with us for our second Kids Entrepreneur Fair during our one of our most popular events of the year! The Lilac Festival!
What you need to know:
- Don't wait too long to register! We have limited spots available!
- Each vendor will be provided a space, and you are welcome to bring a 10x10 pop up canopy for tables and chairs (not provided by Fort Cross).
- Must arrive between 8:30-9:00 am, and be set up before 10 am on Saturday, April 4, 2026. The Lilac Festival ends at 5 pm, but since kids probably need a shorter "work day", the Kids Entrepreneur Fair portion will be advertised to end at 2 pm.
- Each child vendor will need to be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.
- Each vendor must supply their own way of collecting payment.
- Each vendor must register online here: Kids Entrepreneur Fair Registration
- There is a $10 registration fee for each child/vendor. This will include booth space, and General Admission (petting zoo entry, jug band room, hoedown, walking trails, lilac maze, lawn games, etc.) to the Lilac Festival for 1 child/vendor and 1 parent/adult to enjoy afterward. $5 for each additional child vendor if they are sharing the same booth.
- Vendor fee must be paid in order for registration to be approved. We will contact you when your registration is received. Cash, credit card, Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal are all acceptable forms of payment. If paying in cash, you must arrange a time to meet in person for payment prior to the day of the event.
